Coated VICRYL Plus is a braided absorbable suture with an antibacterial coating on the thread, used for soft tissue approximation in internal layers where a permanent stitch is not needed. STRATAFIX is a knotless tissue control device: a barbed suture, in bidirectional variants, for fascial and subcuticular closure and deep layer approximation without tied knots. BIOPATCH is a chlorhexidine-impregnated foam disk placed around a catheter insertion site; it releases antiseptic continuously, covers the full circle of the entry point and is changed with the dressing.
