The ETHICON 4000 stapler system is a current-generation powered articulating endocutter for laparoscopic tissue transection, positioned for thick and challenging tissue and designed to distribute compression evenly along the staple line. The ECHELON CIRCULAR powered stapler joins hollow organs in colorectal resections, gastrectomy, gastric bypass and oesophagectomy; it fires under power, is offered in multiple head sizes, and compresses tissue evenly around the anastomosis.

Both are Ethicon staplers from Johnson & Johnson MedTech, for which ViSurg is an authorised distributor, and both are used by General and laparoscopic surgery departments. Staplers are bought per case and by rate contract; tenders and rate contracts are handled from the registered office in Vijayapura, with pricing confirmed on enquiry.
