The processor is the part of an endoscopy tower that every scope depends on, so it is usually the first decision when a GI endoscopy unit is set up or refreshed. The platform ViSurg offers here is the Fujifilm ELUXEO 8000 endoscopic imaging system (EP-8000), which combines the video processor and a multi-LED light source in place of a xenon lamp. It drives Fujifilm gastroscopes, colonoscopes, duodenoscopes, bronchoscopes and EUS scopes for upper and lower GI endoscopy, ERCP, EUS and bronchoscopy, and earlier scope series remain compatible, so an existing scope fleet can stay in use.
Beyond white light, the system offers linked-colour, blue-light and amber-red observation modes (LCI, BLI and ACI) for finding and characterising lesions, with noise reduction and extended dynamic range processing to sharpen the image. Fujifilm Healthcare equipment is supplied on request.
ViSurg acts as a dealer for endoscopy processors and light sources to gastroenterology and pulmonology departments, and supplies and services them across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa from the nearest ViSurg branch, which handles demonstration, installation, training and after-sales support.
