Overview
The ETHICON 4000 Stapler System is a laparoscopic stapler used with ETHICON 3D Reloads to create staple lines during surgery. It uses 3D Stapling Technology, in which offset staple legs distribute pressure more evenly through the staple line than traditional 2D staples. The system is engineered for strength and stability, and its design supports expanded tissue ranges and streamlined reload options that simplify reload choice.
The system is used in colorectal, thoracic, bariatric, urological and general surgery, with procedures including low anterior resection, colectomy, lobectomy, wedge resection, segmentectomy, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, revisions and hepatobiliary surgery. The stapler is designed to deliver consistent staples from the first to the last. Product codes are EC3D60C, EC3D60L and EC3D60S.
