Chemical Indicator Strips

Chemical indicator (CI) strips from ASP give visual confirmation of exposure to sterilisation conditions, which helps staff tell unprocessed items from processed items at a glance. The range includes a STERRAD chemical indicator strip for monitoring exposure to hydrogen peroxide in STERRAD Systems, and VERISURE strips for VH2O2 Type 1 and Type 4 multi-variable indicators. A VERISURE steam Type 4 multi-variable strip is included for monitoring steam sterilisation processes within loads.

The VERISURE VH2O2 Type 1 and Type 4 strips are intended for use with STERRAD Systems and V-PRO sterilisers. The Type 1 strip changes from red (unprocessed) to yellow or lighter (processed), and the Type 4 strip changes from purple (unprocessed) to green or lighter (processed). The steam strip is designed for vacuum-assisted and gravity displacement cycles, and its indicator changes from yellow (unprocessed) to dark brown/black (processed).
