Overview
The Steri-Shield 8 is a personal protection system from Stryker for surgical teams, consisting of a helmet and a toga. The helmet uses three points of securement for an adjustable fit, an integrated Ponytail Pathway hair management system, and three magnetic connection points that start airflow and light. Its fan is designed to target the front and back of the neck.
The toga has numbers printed for helmet connection, AAMI level 1 breathability on the back, AAMI level 4 protection in critical zones and peel-away technology. It runs on an all-in-one battery. The helmet fit can be customised to suit individual surgeons, and it is designed for a range of hairstyles and head sizes.
