Overview
Neptune is a closed waste management system from Stryker for surgical fluid, with integrated suction and specimen handling for the operating room and endoscopy suite. Both Neptune 3 and Neptune S use a docking station and the Smart Equipment Manager (SEM), a cloud-based application that reports maintenance needs and total run time.
Neptune 3 has a 4L lighted canister, two independently controlled canisters, and integrated smoke evacuation with an 80 hour ULPA filter. It also has a powered IV pole with auto retraction that holds four 3L bags. Neptune S has an 8L capacity and integrated specimen collection with an illuminated worksurface, and it is designed for gastrointestinal procedures, with a smaller footprint than Neptune 3.
