Overview

The 1788 Platform is a surgical visualisation system for minimally invasive surgery, built around a 32-inch 4K OLED surgical monitor and a 1788 camera. It is designed to visualise multiple optical imaging agents and includes SPY fluorescence modes, an L12 light source, a camera control unit, the PneumoClear insufflator, a VPI for open surgery, and a Connected OR cart.

The platform offers SPY Overlay, SPY ENV, SPY Contrast, IRIS, SPY CSF and SPY CSI imaging modes, with Tone mode and full frame HDR among its image features. General surgery, urology and thoracic surgery are the clinical areas it is designed for. The camera head can control further Stryker devices, and the SPY-PHI handheld imager is used with the VPI to visualise perfusion in open surgery.
