Overview
The 5008S CorDiax is a haemodialysis machine that enables HighVolumeHDF as a standard treatment in dialysis centres. Its AutoSub plus function automatically maximises the substitution volume for each patient by checking conditions inside the filter several times per minute, without any user interaction. It uses ONLINEplus technology, which prepares sterile substitution fluid at the bedside for haemodiafiltration.
Venous Access Monitoring (VAM) is fitted as standard in all machines. It combines arterial and venous pressure signals to indicate sudden, small drops in venous pressure, and when an alarm is emitted the blood pump stops and the venous clamp closes. AutoFlow adjusts the dialysate flow rate to the effective blood flow rate during treatment, and EcoFlow minimises dialysate and energy consumption during preparation and after reinfusion.
