Overview
The HARMONIC 1100 Shears are a sterile, single-patient-use ultrasonic energy device intended for general dissection, vessel sealing, back-scoring, otomy creation, mesentery marching or meticulous tissue plane dissection. The device has an ergonomic handle, an integrated handpiece and Advanced Hemostasis technology, with dual energy-delivery buttons for focused dissection or coagulation.
The shears have a curved, tapered tip and seal vessels up to and including 7mm. Two shaft lengths (20cm and 36cm) suit a range of procedures. They are used in general, paediatric, gynaecological, urological and thoracic surgery, for sealing and transection of vessels and lymphatics in open and endoscopic procedures. The Adaptive Tissue Technology algorithm actively controls blade heat. Product codes are HAR1120 and HAR1136.
