Overview
The ENSEAL X1 Large Jaw Tissue Sealer is a bipolar energy device designed for use in open surgical procedures. It seals and cuts vessels while grasping, dissecting and cutting tissue. Its shaft is 20 cm long and rotates 360 degrees to give access to targeted tissue, and it is suited to arteries, veins, pulmonary vasculature branches, lymphatics and vessels up to and including 7mm, bundles included.
The device provides separate seal and cut capabilities, with controls placed to reduce hand movement. Adaptive Tissue Technology limits lateral thermal spread in the sealed tissue. It is used in general, gynaecological, thoracic and urological surgery, including colectomies, hysterectomies, Nissen fundoplication, adhesiolysis and oophorectomies. The product code is NSLX120L.
