Hypafix Transparent wide-area fixation

Hypafix Transparent is a transparent and waterproof polyurethane film coated with a very skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive. It is waterproof and a bacterial barrier, and it is also suitable for sensitive skin. Its semi-permeable structure lets the skin breathe, and the extra-thin film conforms like a second skin to the contours of the body, including joints and extremities. Its transparency keeps the dressing inconspicuous and allows visual inspection of the wound environment at all times.

It is used for waterproof wide-area fixation of wound dressings, including on joints and extremities, for waterproof fixation of instruments, catheters, measuring devices and probes, and for hygienic fixation of ointment dressings. It protects wounds against water, moisture and contamination and allows patients to wash and shower without additional protection against water. It is intended for use in hospitals, private practice and by patients themselves.
