Overview

Gypsona is a plaster of Paris bandage that combines fast setting, high quality plaster of Paris with a conformable and stable interlocked weave of leno cloth. The weave helps the bandage retain plaster while it is soaked and moulded, with minimum plaster loss. The creamy texture of the plaster allows easy handling.

The conformable leno cloth assists accuracy during moulding and gives a smooth inside surface with uniform thickness. Gypsona is intended for fast and strong immobilisation in trauma and corrective work. Each roll is individually sealed in a flow wrapper for safe storage. Roll sizes range from 5cm x 2.75m to 20cm x 3.5m, and slab dispenser rolls run from 10cm x 20m to 20cm x 20m.

  • Plaster of Paris on leno-weave cloth
