Overview
Tyvek pouches and rolls from ASP are made from DuPont Tyvek protective material with STERRAD chemical indicator strips built in. They provide a barrier to microorganisms after terminal sterilisation. The pouches and rolls are constructed from two films: a transparent, non-permeable film and an opaque, permeable film of Tyvek material.
The packaging can be double pouched for added protection when used in STERRAD Systems. The range includes self seal pouches, heat seal pouches and rolls in several widths. The microbial barrier holds for up to 12 months after sterilisation, and chemical indicator stability is up to 6 months after sterilisation, when instruments are prepared in line with standards and the ASP instructions for use. Store at room temperature, 15 °C to 30 °C, under dry conditions, and avoid exposing the chemical indicator side to light.
