Overview
STERRAD Cassettes are designed for use in STERRAD Systems, providing precise amounts of hydrogen peroxide for low-temperature sterilisation. The cassettes are for the STERRAD 100S System (product number 10113), the STERRAD NX System (product number 10133) and the STERRAD 100NX System (product number 10144). Each cassette includes a chemical indicator on its wrapping.
The chemical indicator on the wrapping helps identify potential leaks before unwrapping. The system disposes of used cassettes automatically into a disposal box. Appropriate personal protective equipment, such as chemical-resistant latex, PVC/vinyl or nitrile gloves, should be worn when handling any part of the system or load items exposed to hydrogen peroxide. Each 100S or NX cassette case holds 5 cassettes, a 100NX cassette case holds 2, and each cassette runs 5 cycles.
