Overview
CIDEZYME XTRA Multi-Enzymatic Detergent is a low-foaming, mild pH cleaning solution that combines chemical and multi-enzymatic actions to remove medical soils. It is formulated for use in automatic cleaning systems, and it is also used for manual cleaning of medical and general laboratory equipment and instruments before high-level disinfection or terminal sterilisation.
It is a one-step cleaning process, in which chemical and enzymatic actions work together. Its enzymes break down protein, fats, carbohydrates and some organic matter such as blood, while its surfactants remove the matter from the equipment. It contains corrosion inhibitors for compatibility with medical devices. It is the detergent for use in the EVOTECH Endoscope Cleaner and Reprocessor (ECR), and it has a three-minute soak time. The pack size is 1 gallon, with 2 in a case.
