Overview

The ASP AEROFLEX Automatic Endoscope Reprocessor (AER) is a single basin system that automates the washing and high-level disinfection cycle of flexible, semi-critical endoscopes. The complete cycle, which includes wash, high-level disinfection, rinses, MRC testing and alcohol flush, has a 22 minute cycle time for qualified endoscopes. Duodenoscopes require additional time. An integrated AUTOSURE MRC Monitor automates verification of minimum recommended concentration (MRC) testing, so no test strips are required.

The system uses ASP AERO-OPA ortho-Phthalaldehyde Solution, ASP AEROZYME XTRA Multi Enzymatic Detergent and AUTOSURE MRC Reagent as consumables. Standard accessories are the AEROFLEX AER System and a Starter Kit that includes a water filtration system. Optional accessories include a printer kit, a barcode scanner kit, a transport cart and a SCOPEVALET Endo Bag and Tag. Manual cleaning of endoscopes is required before they are placed in the AER. It pairs with ASP ACCESS Technology, and a certified technician carries out installation.
