Overview
System 9 is a range of battery-powered orthopaedic power tools from Stryker. It includes the SABO Saw, a lightweight saw for cutting with speed, control and accuracy, and a Cordless Driver for drilling, cutting and reaming in sports medicine and orthopaedic trauma procedures. The range has more than 200 cutting accessories and attachment compatibility.
The handpieces connect to batteries through a twist-lock interface, and batteries charge on a wireless charger that holds up to six batteries at once. Charging can take place through the case. Battery indicators are visible during connection and use, and the tools carry an IPX 9 rating and an anodised coating. Smart Equipment Management (SEM) provides device-derived data, and ProCare services maintain the tools.
