Overview
The PneumoClear Insufflator is an all-inclusive insufflation system from Stryker that integrates heated and humidified CO2 with active smoke evacuation in a single tube set. It is a 50-litre insufflator with six operating modes: standard, advanced flow, highflow/bariatric, paediatric, TAMIS and vessel harvest. It is used in colorectal, laparoscopic and general surgery.
During laparoscopic and robotic surgery, the insufflator actively evacuates smoke while managing inflow and outflow to keep the visualisation system’s images clear. It can be used with the Video Imaging Processor (VIP) Package, which is part of the Connected OR Hub. The tube set includes ULPA filtration, and the system provides heating, humidification and smoke evacuation together.
