Overview
Gamma4 is a cephalomedullary hip fracture nailing system from Stryker. It is used for intertrochanteric fractures, a wide range of proximal femur fractures and associated femoral shaft fractures, and sits within the trauma and extremities portfolio. The system comprises Trochanteric, Intermediate and Long Nails, with a pre-inserted and cannulated set screw.
The Precision Pin has a drill tip and is used for measurement, and a two-piece Targeting Sleeve is designed to provide compression. All nails have distal targeting and work with Lag Screw and RC Lag Screw options through an integrated instrument platform based on the existing IMN Basic set. Operative technique guides, tray layout cards and inventory sheets are available for hospital and surgeon use.
