FDR D-EVO III flat-panel detector

The FDR D-EVO III is a digital radiography detector available in 14×17″, 17×17″ and 10×12″ sizes. It uses a flexible film-based capture circuitry layer in place of a glass panel, which reduces the weight of the 14×17″ detector. It has a magnesium alloy casing, tapered edges for sliding under a patient, and a Hydro AG antibacterial silver-ion coating on its outer surfaces.

The detector has built-in image memory for trauma image acquisition and sharing with mobile units and other rooms, and it is rated IPX-6 for fluid resistance and IPX-5 for dust particles. It fits standard table and upright bucky trays and cassette holders. It is intended for busy environments such as emergency departments, operating theatres and trauma, and it works with additional detectors, workstations, spare batteries, a table-top battery charger, a detector docking stand, grid caps or virtual grid software, and image processing software.
