Overview
The ED-580XT is a duodenoscope for interventional gastroenterology, used for endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) on the pancreatico-biliary system. It has a 4.2 mm working channel for device passage and exchange, a 100° field of view and a 5° retro viewing angle. The guide wire lock can hold multiple .035 guide wires securely in place.
The distal end cap is removable and single use for cleaning, and the elevator mechanism is sealed to help prevent bioburden build-up around the elevator wire. Movement of the elevator lever at the control knob translates directly to elevator response, for smooth, precise positioning of instruments. The scope has a G7 grip, and it runs on the ELUXEO Endoscopic Video Imaging System with LED Multi-Light illumination and full HD video. It is also compatible with the Fujifilm VP-4440HD processor.
