Overview
The EB-710US is a balloon-less endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) bronchoscope for pulmonology. It has 180° up and 90° down angulation, a 10° forward-facing view and a 120° field of view. The scope has a 2.2mm working channel and fits 19G to 25G needles.
The distal end measures 6.4mm and the insertion tube 5.9mm, with an observation range of 2-50mm. The objective lens, CMOS image sensor and instrument channel are positioned to give a continuous, unobstructed view of the needle. The 180° up angulation is intended for navigating challenging bronchial angles and complex branching in the airways. As a balloon-less design, it needs no balloon to be attached and no air bubbles to be purged before use. It is compatible with STERRAD and EOG sterilisation.
