Overview
ENDOPATH XCEL Trocars with OPTIVIEW Technology are surgical instruments used in minimally invasive surgery, where trocars are the first point of entry into the patient. Each trocar functions as a portal for the subsequent insertion of other endoscopic instruments. The OPTIVIEW Technology wipes, wicks and absorbs bodily fluid and debris from the endoscope shaft as it is removed from the trocar, and is designed to reduce smudging of the endoscope on reinsertion.
The range has bladeless, dilating tip, blunt tip and universal sleeve options, each in 5mm and 12mm sizes. The trocars are used across surgical specialties for establishing access in minimally invasive procedures. Product codes include 2B5LT and 2B12LT.
