Tensopress elastic compression bandage

Tensopress is an elastic compression bandage, knitted from a soft blend of cotton, viscose and elastic thread. It is light and strong, will not fray at the edges, and is long enough to cover the leg from the base of the toes to the knee. Its even increase in elasticity across the working extension gives controlled compression, and a central line marks the correct overlap.

It is applied from the side of the toes with one or two anchor turns, then with a standard spiral technique up the leg, overlapping along the marked line while maintaining a constant extension beyond the unstretched length. It is not suitable for ankles less than 18cm in circumference, and if necessary the ankle should be padded to 18cm or greater. Its soft blend of cotton, viscose and elastic thread is designed for sensitive healing skin.
