Cutimed Siltec silicone foam dressing

Cutimed Siltec is a foam dressing with a silicone layer, developed to manage exudate. Its perforated silicone layer adheres gently to the surrounding skin and is intended to cause minimum discomfort when the dressing is changed, with no adhesion in the moist wound. The foam core contains super-absorbent particles that absorb exudate and bind it, even under compression.

It is indicated for venous leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, arterial ulcers and skin grafts, and it provides absorption in slightly to heavily exuding wounds. The polyurethane film on the outside is permeable to vapours and prevents wound exudate from striking through. Absorption through the polyurethane foam and the hydrophobic wound contact layer is vertical. It belongs to the Cutimed exudate management range.
